Spain property for
sale
In Spain there is a large selection of
both resale and off-plan property. Off plan property is
usually put on sale as soon as the building license is given
and often at a lower price than it is really worth.
Construction then starts and usually takes about 24 months
to complete depending on the size of the project. Investors
would normally have to pay about 20% of the price of the
property in those 24 months and the other 80% would be
payable upon completion.
Many of these off-plan projects
allow for resale before building completion so you can make a
profit without even having to pay the full property
price.

A 2 bedroom unit at 150,000
euros
During the first 24 monthsyou pay
- 30,000 euros (20%)
Recent property increases 12% per
year - 36,000 euros (24%)
Although you may have a few costs
to sell the unit you can see from the figures that you have
doubled your original investment in just 2
years.
