Property in Bulgaria

Until just recently Bulgaria was not an option for investors. A little heard of country hidden away in a corner of the Eastern Block, now things are different, why? The success Bulgaria has had is due to two main factors.

Firstly, during the last two years we have seen rental yields decline in a lot of Europe’s main property markets. Countries like the UK and Ireland have seen yields drop to less than 3%. This combined with property prices being inflated makes western european property markets difficult to work.
Many investors have now decided to turn to Europe’s "emerging" economies to seek out markets that can increase their funds more profitably and quickly. Following these investors are holiday homes buyers and individual amateur investors who are looking to buy up the off-plan properties being built by well-established contructors.
